Ballet dancer talks after recovering from being hit by truck

22-year-old Catey Smith-Warner says she remembered the truck suddenly heading toward her but after that she blacked out. The young dance teacher was struck by a truck with Justin Hicken, 22, behind the wheel. Police say that he veered off the road and hit Catey. She wound up with broken facial bones, broken leg and shattered knee.

The Far Shore "was created for the Shanghai Expo and was to be premiered next week as the highlight of the event's 'UK National Day'. But the British Council and English National Ballet cancelled the performance after learning of the [work's] dedication [to the people of Tibet], saying … the piece had become 'a political vehicle'."
