Though it’s clear that if not for Catherine Deneuve, this interview would be close to disaster (fortunately she has a fascinating ability to find an interesting answer), I don’t think Ch.R. is dumb or doesn’t like her. If you watch the other interviews he made with her on this show,I think it’s quite clear he is a good “questioner” and he likes her quiet a lot.I suppose it must have had something to do with the fact this was their first interview (as far as I know).He must’ve been very nervous.
