Very well done. Scheherazade is great music and the ballet moves fuse with it perfectly. The choreography is tasteful and expressive. Great video.

I love how they take Rimsky-Korsakov’s introduction, and then move to the romantic third movement… It’s very interesting.

The man in this dance should be ‘golden slave’, not ‘Shah Sharyar’(the king) as marked in the video.

You can find the whole ballet also in youtube. Look for sheherezade ballet lopatkina and you will have the Mariinsky performance in Madrid in 1999 with great Lopatkina and Ruzimatov. Worth watching!

wow we did this for a half time show(of course it was a little more lively due to obvious puposes)but unfortunately over half the people in our marching band couldn’t play very well…….
